Shared Services: HRM Partners- (Full-Time, Day Shift)
Job Summary: The Human Resource Partner functions as the primary interface between Human Resources and operational units of the organization. Provides consultation and collaboration on a wide variety of human resources issues, providing feedback and linkage to the central Human Resource office. Acts as liaison to other human resource functions including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, service center, compliance and staff development. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. Minimum two years of experience as HR generalist or related area required; preferably three years. Minimum one year of previous management experience preferred; preferably in a health care setting.
Knowledge and Skills: Must have knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, and other healthcare agency regulations is preferred. Able to understand recruitment, compensation, organizational planning, organization development and training; understand employment laws and practices. Able to work efficiently in a Microsoft Windows environment; and record-keeping. Computer skills essential (proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation application software). Able to utilize excellent interpersonal, coaching, platform and training skills, along with effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization; exercise independent judgment; work with various departments and foster teamwork; maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Able to utilize excellent organizational skills; work independently with minimal supervision; manage a high volume workload; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; take the initiative in dealing with daily assumptions. Experience or training in problem solving, dispute resolution, and negotiation skills is essential. Experience in using, understanding and interpreting a wide variety of business-related statistical reports essential. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; write, hear, read and speak sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone; identify and distinguish various sounds associated with workplace; see adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications: Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.
