Position Summary
The Center for Health Leadership and Impact (CHLI) designs and implements programs that build the capacity of groups to work together and transform their communities into healthier environments.
The Program Administrator I will be responsible for assisting in operational and administrative functions of the Center. The incumbent will provide a full range of administrative and operational support to the CHLI including fiscal management processes, invoice management and processing, credit card reconciliation, travel planning and management, and fiscal support.
This is a remote regular full-time position.
Full salary range for this position: $62,968 to $90,167 per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $62,968 (minimum) to $76,568 (midpoint), based on 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as point person on the Program Administration team for contract processing, travel claims, invoice processing, monthly credit card report processing and check requests.
- Provide fiscal/grants management support including reconciling credit cards and internally monitor/track CHLI’s multiple complex budgets against PeopleSoft, and purchasing supplies.
- Serve as event/project management point person for travel including developing travel guidance in accordance with grant/event specifics and PHI/funder guidance; contracting with hotels and serving as point person for the CHLI travel agent for all staff and participant event travel reservations.
- Handle fiscal communications and inquiries with vendors and outside partners regarding requests for W9, OPIS, Direct Deposit and invoices per contract payment schedule via emails and phone calls.
- Maintain and manage the filing of agreements/vendor contracts and supporting documents utilizing cloud-based storage and task management tools (i.e. Box and Wrike).
- Process check requests and invoices payments using Access Database.
- Perform other duties as needed in support of the Center.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of related experience in finance, accounting, budgeting or other related field.
- Bachelor’s degree, or substitute with four additional years of related experience.

- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet searches.
- Ability to exercise initiative, be creative, and be resourceful.
- Bachelor’s degree or course work in accounting or finance is preferred.

This position is classified as exempt based on the job duties. However, based on the FTE, salary level of the employee, or federal/state/local laws, the employee may be classified as nonexempt.
