Job Summary
The Events Coordinator duties include organizing and managing departmental events, seminars, and recruitment activities. This role supports faculty, staff, and students by coordinating logistics, managing communications, and ensuring successful execution of departmental events. This position also provides support for web communications (general and events-related) and other administrative tasks, such as room scheduling.
The Events Coordinator will report to the Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) and Mathematics Chief Administrators and work closely with the staff, faculty and students in both departments.

Work Schedule
Please note: This position is 100% (40 hrs./wk.) for 9 months of the year (August 15 to May 15), with summers off (May 16 to August 14). This role requires a blend of remote, office, and on-site event work. Some evening and weekend hours may be required based on event schedules. The work is hybrid (in person and remote).

Additional Information
The salary range is $40,000 - $50,000. Please note a higher salary may be offered based on equity and the selected candidate's experience.
