Reference: 2752124TDThe Campus Kitchen is the University of Southampton’s in house catering service. We facilitate a multitude of services across the University to include the provision of food in catered halls, retail catering outlets across all campuses, a delivered catering service and catering for all hospitality requirements across our campuses. Our aim is to deliver a five-star food service, catering for a wide range of needs and requirements and enhancing the experience for staff, students and visitors on campus.

The role
Catering Services are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with administrative experience within a hospitality or catering environment. The Catering Administrator will ensure the provision of effective and efficient administrative support to the catering department, provide detailed advice and guidance on catering provisions for internal and external customers and create and update content for all catering communications.
The working hours are on a full-time basis, predominantly Monday to Friday. You will need to have some flexibility in terms of working hours in accordance with business needs. The role is predominantly based on Highfield Campus but you may occasionally be required to travel between campuses.
Additional working benefits include time off over the Easter and Christmas period due to University Closure days, bank holidays and a 36 hour working week.
About you
You will be a highly motivated and proactive individual, capable of multi-tasking and have exceptional attention to detail. Experience in high end restaurant service or a fine dining setting is essential to the role.
