This is a Full-Time position (80 hours per pay period), with an 8-hour DAY shift schedule, Monday through Friday. This position will be partially remote and must reside within San Diego area. As a Clinical Informatics Supervisor, you will;

• Utilizes operations and/or clinical knowledge to consult with the business to identify workflow, data and application requirements.
• Works with integrated development resources to generate documentation and facilitate solution designs, ensuring solution meets customer needs.
• Facilitates identification of best practices and makes recommendations for standardization.
• Assists in establishing education strategies for staff and physicians. May build and maintain clinical applications.
• Provides operations management support to department leadership, including timekeeping and quality control/reporting.
• Contributes to performance evaluations and hiring decisions.
• The supervisor will oversee 5 clinical informatics nurses that support acute care sites and care lines across Scripps.

Required:

• Two years of nursing experience or medical informatics.
• Good critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills
• Current CA RN license or graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree specific to applications supported.

Preferred:

• Lead small projects or technical activities.
• Informatics certification.
• Bachelor's degree.
