The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is currently pursuing an opening for a Domain Accelerator to work in Multiple Locations. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Enterprise Development, Application, and Training (EDAT) mission. In this mission we are focused on providing innovative, data-driven solutions and enterprise architecture enhancements to enable seamless operations across USSOCOM's global network. The program emphasizes rapid development and deployment of technologies to enhance the mobility and readiness of Special Operations Forces (SOF) in both combat and non-combat scenarios. Key tasks include program management, application development, training support, and technology integration to maintain USSOCOM's operational edge. The EDAT program underscores agility and adaptability, ensuring SOF professionals have access to the information and tools they need to meet evolving mission requirements.
Locations:
These positions will be onsite. Candidates need to be located near Tampa, FL, San Diego, CA, and Fayetteville, NC to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities.
Provide expert-level guidance and strategic oversight for domain-specific initiatives, including cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, system engineering, and data science.
Develop strategies to drive innovation, streamline operations, and accelerate progress across technical domains to meet EDAT program objectives.
Identify and assess emerging technologies relevant to the EDAT program, recommending solutions to enhance USSOCOM's operational capabilities.
Lead the integration of cutting-edge tools and methodologies into existing systems to modernize and future-proof capabilities within the SOF Information Environment (SIE).
Proactively identify risks, challenges, and opportunities within domain-specific areas.
Develop and implement mitigation strategies and solutions to address complex technical and operational challenges.
Serve as a mentor to cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, fostering collaboration, and promoting knowledge sharing across the project.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with program goals and mission requirements.
Track and evaluate the progress of domain-specific initiatives, ensuring that deliverables meet scope, quality, and security requirements.
Provide detailed progress reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities for growth and further acceleration.
Basic Qualifications.
Masters degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Data Science.
Must possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance.
Advanced certifications specific to the domain (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF for enterprise architecture, or CDMP for data science).
At least 15 years of experience in a technical domain (e.g., cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, data science) with demonstrated expertise in driving strategic initiatives.
Deep understanding of advanced frameworks, tools, and technologies within the selected domain.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and initiatives within complex and high-stakes environments.
Experience working in a senior advisory role, providing guidance to executive stakeholders.
Thorough knowledge of DoD security frameworks, including DISA STIG, NIST, and Zero Trust principles.
Preferred Qualifications.
Project management certifications such as PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
Expertise in applying advanced analytics, AI/ML, and big data techniques to drive decision-making and innovation within the EDAT program.
Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, ization, and enterprise-level architecture design for scalable and secure solutions.
Demonstrated ability to integrate emerging technologies into large-scale programs to enhance operational outcomes.
Experience conducting gap analyses and creating strategic roadmaps for domain growth and innovation.
In-depth understanding of USSOCOM's mission, operational requirements, and the SOF Information Environment (SIE).
Experience advising on technical initiatives within DoD or similar high-security environments.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical teams and non-technical senior leaders.
Proven experience providing actionable recommendations and strategic insights to program leadership.
