The successful candidates will be expected to:
- Lead or participate in high-quality teaching and training for students, residents, and fellows
- Conduct impactful research, with opportunities to develop independent projects and pursue interdisciplinary work
- Serve as a mentor to trainees and junior faculty, supporting their academic and professional development
- Contribute to departmental and institutional service efforts, including committee participation and program development
- Provide clinical care (MD or equivalent, MD/PhD candidates)
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, MD/PhD or PhD in a relevant field of Pediatrics or its subspecialties.
Candidates with an MD or equivalent must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
Candidates involved in clinical care must have an MD or equivalent and must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric subspecialties.
