Position Summary:
The Department of Pharmacy Sciences at Creighton University is looking for a qualified and highly motivated postdoctoral research associate in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and related fields. The department is heavily involved in the discovery of novel drug delivery system design, pharmaceutical analysis, and many contractual works with local and national pharmaceutical companies. The primary duties for the successful candidate will involve the design, development, and analysis of novel drug delivery systems. This position will also provide guidance and training of our graduate students.
Essential Functions:
- Lab work focused on completing specific aims described in grant.
- Data collection
- Data processing and analysis
- Training of graduate students
Education & Experience:
- Applicants are required to have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and related field with experience in analytical methods including LCMS, HPLC, and characterization of dosage forms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrate superior organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Self-starting and self-motivating.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive research data.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Integrity with management of research data
- Interpersonal skills with variety of individuals to include faculty, staff, and students.
