The University Operations, Events, and Safety division is currently hiring for the position of Service Associate (On-Call/Temporary) at Holy Cross College. The University Operations, Events, and Safety division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

Why this position?
The Service Associate supports the mission and goals of a “Best in Class” dining program. As a member of a dynamic dining hall operation, the associate will support the daily operations of the dining hall. He/She will complete general assignments related to the preparation, presentation, service, and clean-up of food production, adhering to standards of service and hospitality to ensure the Holy Cross community and its guests receive the very best in food and service. The service associate prepares work areas for service, sets up and cleans equipment and facilities; participates in general assignments, such as, preparation and delivery of food; participates in special or catered events within the dining hall or elsewhere on campus; and is responsible for performing tasks related to the appearance, safety and sanitation of food service facilities.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Food service experience preferred. Good communication skills required. Janitorial experience helpful. Ability to comprehend and perform both routine jobs and special needs. Qualify for sanitation certificate.
